Please tell us a little about yourself?
My wife and I live in Oxfordshire and have three grown up children. We attend a local church, where I am part of the leadership team, which began in our garage and has now grown to a multi-cultural multi-age congregation of 140.
How important is faith to you, in your day to day life?
Faith is an integral part of my being. Without faith, I wouldn’t be a whole person. God’s unconditional love is vitally important to me, it offers a peace and strength in which I can face each day.
Why are you passionate about helping young people?
As a young person, I was blessed to have teachers, youth leaders, Sunday School teachers and other adults who had a positive impact upon my life. I want to honour their legacy and pass it onto the next generation.
What is it about Rock UK that attracted you to join the team?
Put simply; the great mission, the great people and the great opportunity. Today, many young people are living with poor mental health which is a growing concern. At Rock UK, we help young people to develop confidence and stronger mental resilience, so they are better equipped to cope with life’s challenges.
What do you enjoy doing to relax in your spare time?
As well as the great outdoors, I love reading and choose to read paperbacks rather than use an electronic device! If I fall asleep whilst reading, a book won’t break when it hits the floor!
