Hours per week: 37.5 hours

Salary: £16,009.50 – £18,009.50 per annum depending on qualifications

Contract Term: Permanent subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check and a 6 month probationary period

Location: Carroty Wood, Tonbridge, Kent

We are looking for a full-time Instructor at our Carroty Wood residential activity centre set in 58 acres of beautiful woodland just north of Tonbridge, Kent. If you are an experienced activity instructor who can clearly and respectfully communicate Rock UK’s Christian ethos, mission and vision to visitors and guests, this role could be for you.

The Instructor will assist the Chief Instructor and other members of the instructor team in running instructed activities, with responsibilities for day-to-day delivery of the centre’s activity provision within Rock UK’s activity framework and Christian ethos. He or she will need to hold at least one of the following qualifications: Paddlesport Leader Award or Canoe/ Kayak Coach Award, Mountain Leader, Climbing Wall Instructor or Rock Climbing Instructor.

Location: Frontier Centre, Northamptonshire

We are looking for two Lead Instructors to assist the Chief Instructor and Senior Instructor in running instructed activities with significant responsibility for day-to-day planning and delivery of the centre’s activity provision within an overall Rock UK activity framework. The post holder will have the experience to lead and motivate a team of instructors and trainees. He or she will at all times demonstrate a customer-centric mindset and be able to clearly communicate our Christian ethos, objectives, mission and vision to staff and guests.

The successful applicant will need to have strong interpersonal skills, an ability to think and work as a team as well as independently and good organisational and administrative skills.  He or she will need to hold the following qualifications: Archery GB Instructor Award, Rock Climbing Instructor, Sheltered Water Canoe/Kayak Award or Paddlesport Leader Award and Paddlesport Instructor, 16 hour first aid certificate.

Contract Term: Permanent subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check and a 6 month probationary period

We are looking for a Senior Instructor to lead, motivate and develop a team of high quality instructors and trainees, ensuring industry best-practice and excellence in activity training and delivery. As a key member of the centre instructor leadership team, the Senior Instructor will be able to clearly communicate our Christian ethos, objectives, mission and vision to staff and guests.

The successful applicant will need to hold the following qualifications: RCI, Canoe & Kayak coach (sheltered water) and ideally ML(S), Archery Leader Award, nationally recognised Mountain Biking Leader. If you do not currently hold all of the required qualifications but feel confident that you could achieve these within an agreed time-frame, please do contact us to discuss your application further.
