Hours per week: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: c£20k + £1,500 South East Weighting Allowance

Contract Term: Permanent subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check and a 3 month probationary period

We are looking for a Senior Instructor to lead, motivate and develop a team of high quality instructors and trainees, ensuring industry best-practice and excellence in activity training and delivery. As a key member of the centre instructor leadership team, the Senior Instructor will be able to clearly communicate our Christian ethos, objectives, mission and vision to staff and guests.

We are looking for an administrator to positively and efficiently serve our guests and represent Rock UK at every stage of the guest experience – from first enquiry, booking, final preparations, throughout the residential, and following a stay. The significant direct customer-facing aspects of the role requires the post-holder to be confident in representing Rock UK’s Christian ethos and values to groups.

Rock UK has an exciting opportunity for a new Centre Director at its Carroty Wood centre in Tonbridge, Kent. We are looking for a committed Christian who is passionate about their faith, the outdoors and young people. The Centre Director will have the management experience and pastoral heart to lead and inspire the centre staff team with a desire to share the love of Jesus with our guests through adventure, hospitality and service. Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Centre Director will be a member of the Rock UK Senior Leadership Team. Whilst having a love of the outdoors, it is not essential that the successful applicant will be a qualified outdoors practitioner.

We are looking for a Café Manager to manage and oversee Summit Centre’s café, providing excellence and service to all customers, ensuring good quality, choice and value of fare. The successful applicant will have overall responsibility for the cafe, including Christian outreach to the community, café events, maintenance and development and will be an example of Christian servant-leadership to our staff and guests, of all faiths and none.

This post is for a multi-activity instructor and the successful applicant should have the following minimum qualifications:

Single Pitch Award (SPA) or UKCC Level 2 canoe and kayak coach

Salary is in the region of £15,268 per annum depending on experience.
