Hours: 25 per week

Salary: £21,500 + £1,500 South East Weighting pro rata per annum

Contract: Part-time, permanent

We are looking for an Office Co-ordinator to lead and supervise the bookings administration team at Carroty Wood and to support the Centre Director with a range of administrative and accounting tasks.  You will have the personal qualities and experience to lead, motivate and develop the team to ensure a culture of excellence and service and to be able to clearly and respectfully communicate our Christian ethos, objectives, mission and vision to staff, guests and other stakeholders of all faiths and none.

You will need to have excellent organisational and administrative skills, experience of leading and motivating a staff team, strong interpersonal skills, experience of using Microsoft Office and be familiar with accounting processes.  Previous experience of working in a sales environment would be an advantage.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Director based at our Head Office in Northamptonshire with regular UK wide travel.  As a member of the Senior Leadership Team and reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the post holder will have overall responsibility for the strategic direction and delivery of sales, marketing, fundraising and communications, in order to deliver Rock UK’s Christian missional aims and business objectives. We are looking for someone who is passionate about their Christian faith and who has a demonstrable track-record of effective sales and marketing delivery. They will be an excellent communicator, able to be a key face of Rock UK alongside the Chief Executive, capable of articulating and exemplifying its Christian ethos and purpose to all partners and stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced instructor to join our established, but growing team at Frontier Centre, Northamptonshire.  We are looking for a motivated individual to instruct adventure activity sessions at a large multi-activity centre.

As a key member of the activity team, you will be able to clearly communicate our Christian ethos and values to our guests.  You will need to work well both as part of a team and by yourself and should have experience of instructing a wide range of adventurous activities.

You should have instructor qualifications in any of the following activities: rock climbing, indoor climbing, paddle sports, archery. For the right candidate, Rock UK will support the continued progression in gaining further nationally recognised qualifications.

We are looking to appoint a full-time Centre Assistant at our outdoor activity centre in Irthlingborough, Northamptonshire.

The successful applicant will be responsible for giving welcome talks to groups on arrival and being the first point of contact during their stay.  Working under the direction of the Facilities Manager they will help to ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, and that the centre is well presented. They will provide practical assistance in the preparation of buildings and facilities, and carry out physical tasks and routine checks around the centre. They will be included on the out of hours on-call rota (including weekends every 6 weeks).  Applicants will need to have excellent verbal communication skills, practical and problem-solving skills, a good level of physical fitness and hold a valid driving licence.

We are looking for a Senior Instructor to lead, motivate and develop a team of high quality instructors and trainees, ensuring industry best-practice and excellence in activity training and delivery. As a key member of the centre instructor leadership team, you will be able to clearly communicate our Christian ethos, objectives, mission and vision to staff and guests.

You will need to hold the following qualifications: Rock Climbing Instructor, British Canoeing Coach award – Canoe & Kayak, British Canoeing Moderate Water Leadership Award – Canoe or WWK, Mountain Leader and ideally Archery GB Leader Award (or relevant experience).  For the right candidate, Rock UK will support the continued progression in obtaining any awards listed but not held.
