Our Refresh Family Retreat is the perfect place to spend quality time together as a family and enjoy fellowship with other Christians away from the pressures of everyday life. We know that planning a family break to suit everyone can sometimes be stressful (and expensive), so this all-inclusive four-night break includes enough structure and activities to keep the whole family engaged – but is not so highly planned that there isn’t room to relax, breathe and build relationships.
Whithaugh Park is situated in the unspoilt landscape of the Scottish Borders countryside and shares its surroundings with forests and rivers. Come and disconnect from technology, connect with each other and meet like-minded families.
The price is all-inclusive – with no hidden costs – so you can simply relax and enjoy, and let us do the organising.
What is included?
- 4 nights accommodation (different options available)

What does a typical day look like?
All activities, kids clubs and devotional times are optional. You will be free to turn up to whatever you feel like doing that day.
MORNINGS
For children there will be kids clubs open with fun, games and bible stories. For adults there will be space for devotional time and worship.
Later in the morning a range of instructed activities will be available including Zip Wire, Archery, High Ropes, Mountain Biking and more.
AFTERNOONS
After lunch there will be more activities to enjoy, or simply make the most of the scenery on a walk and explore in the woods or surrounding hills.
EVENINGS
Following a hot meal you can simply relax as a family or join our campfire, quiz evening or star gazing.
The exact programme will be designed nearer the time to suit all ages coming.
When is Refresh Retreat?
You’ll arrive for your 4 night / 5 day break on Saturday 1st August and depart on Wed 5th August 2020.
How much does it cost?
Prices are based on 2 families sharing a lodge. Private lodges are available, please get in touch for a price.

ACCOMMODATION
Our Scandinavian-style lodges have 3 or 4 bedrooms and a shared bathroom and shower room. Food is served from a central dining room. Prices are worked out based on 2 families sharing a lodge, so for sole-use, please enquire for a price.
