Early Careers Programmes

Rock UK’s Early Careers Development Programme helps transform the career paths of your apprentices, graduates, and future leaders.

Picture your early careers talent starting their journey with your organisation, experiencing a lightbulb moment during a group climbing challenge, finding a sense of belonging while undertaking a caving challenge, or gaining clarity on your organisational values through impactful discussions led by our experienced instructors. These experiences can serve as catalysts, helping them transition from academic learning to real-world application.

At Rock UK, we believe the most impactful learning happens not through endless PowerPoint presentations or online modules, but by turning theory into action in the great outdoors.

An outdoor adventure could see your early careers talent gain a deeper awareness of the impact they can have on your organisation.

Our Approach

Holistic Development: Our programme integrates hands-on outdoor adventures with structured learning goals. Your future talent gain practical knowledge, essential skills, and a positive workplace attitude through engaging and challenging activities.

Team and Individual Growth: In our dynamic learning environment, your delegates are encouraged to explore their personal strengths while working collaboratively. With the guidance of our experienced instructors and your dedicated staff, each activity will bring to life a learning goal and then translate these experiences into their professional development.

Reflective Practice: Our programme emphasizes the importance of reflection. Apprentices will have designated periods for review and reflection both in the field and in training rooms. This reflective practice allows them to connect their experiences with the learning objectives of your early career programmes. Supported by a Learning Journal, your delegates can document their journey, insights, and growth. The journal will also act as a valuable resource for your apprentices as evidence during End Point Assessments (EPA).

Showcase, Evaluation and Transfer: To cement their learning and evaluate progress, apprentices will present their achievements in group presentations. This not only reinforces their knowledge and skills but also builds confidence, prepares them for professional discussions during EPA and enables them to identify how they will transfer learning back into the workplace.
