At Rock UK we want every child, regardless of their family circumstances, to benefit from a life-changing residential at one of our outdoor adventure centres.

They miss out on the things most children take for granted: warm clothes, school trips, having friends over for tea. They do less well at school and earn less as adults.” (Child Poverty Action Group)
At Rock UK we want every child, regardless of their family circumstances, to benefit from a life-changing residential at one of our outdoor adventure centres. Since we launched the Rock UK Bursary Fund in 2013 over 2,000 children have benefitted from an outdoor residential at Rock UK, ensuring that no child is left behind. Right now, we are seeing an increase in demand for bursary places.
We need your help to ensure that no child has to miss out on a residential trip, which gives them the opportunity to challenge themselves, grow in confidence, push boundaries and discover capabilities they didn’t know they had!
We’ve created a fundraising campaign called Turn Your School Orange and we would love for schools up and down the UK to take part in an event, which helps disadvantaged children join their friends on a trip to Rock UK.
Turn Your School Orange is a great opportunity to raise funds for the Rock UK Bursary Fund whilst at the same time having lots of fun. The idea is to dedicate a day where children come dressed in something orange and bring a small donation. You could also have orange face painting, orange cake sale, orange painting competition and anything else you can think of that turns your school orange!
Whatever you choose to do, ask everyone to make a small donation for taking part and send us a cheque with the proceeds (please quote reference ‘TYSO20’ with your donation). We will send you a lovely orange themed certificate, to say thank you for enabling more children to share the Rock UK experience with their classmates.
