Primary schools

At Rock UK we focus on really making a difference to every child that visits us. Rather than numbers through the door, our goal is to provide quality residential activity stays and memories that last a lifetime. Whether you are bringing Year One children for a taster one night adventure or your Year Six class on an action packed week away, we work closely with you to tailor all activities to be age appropriate. We’ve been awarded the Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) Quality Badge which ensures our curriculum-based activities meet your learning objectives.

For many children this is the first significant time they’ve spent away from home, but by the end of their school residential their confidence will have grown massively. Our instructors are really good at working with young children and helping them overcome fears and challenges to bring out a completely different side, which teachers may not have seen before.

Secondary schools

We know that it is important to get students out of their comfort zones. At Rock UK we tailor secondary school visits to include challenging activities which help boost self-esteem.

A visit to one of our centres can cover many areas of the curriculum through outdoor learning including; PHSE, maths, geography, science, religious education, communication, teamwork, problem solving and much more. Together we will tailor your experience to meet your learning outcomes, whether you come for a day visit or stay for a full week. Our aim is that students return to the classroom instilled with a sense of achievement and empowered to want to achieve more with a new appreciation for learning.

From adventure based fresher trips in Year Seven to exam revision breaks in Year Eleven, Rock UK centres across the country are ideal for secondary schools.

Home schooling

Adventure learning is an important part of every child’s development and at Rock UK we recognise this by offering group adventure breaks to home school students. We offer over 40 instructed activities across our four nationwide centres and we’ll work with your home schooling network to tailor a programme ideally suited to your group’s individual needs.
