As a trainee instructor, you’ll step into a role that is as rewarding as it is challenging:

Residential training: you’ll live and learn alongside others who share your passion

On-the-job experience: you’ll lead and plan sessions in kayaking, climbing, archery, high ropes, and more!

Spiritual growth: workshops, Bible study, mentorship and encouraging relationships

Adventure placements: expect to train in places such as the Cairngorms (Scotland) and Gower or Snowdonia (Wales) at the centre you choose to continue your ITP journey.

Mission impact: in your second year, you’ll head to Lesotho for a mission outreach, running camps and partnering with local instructors.
You don’t need prior qualifications to join—what matters most is a heart for God, a love for the outdoors, and a willingness to serve and learn.
Rock UK covers accommodation, utilities, activity kit and food allowance during the programme – your key cost is personal expenses (travel, clothing, etc).
